About "Book Millionaire"
Reality Show...

Exciting news! The online videos are up and ready to be voted on by you.

You can watch and vote on the first week applicant videos right now by clicking on http://www.bookmillionaire.com

Hey, if you like these videos, feel free to pass them along to a friend. You can send them this email and they can click on http://www.bookmillionaire.com and vote for their favorite too.

We will be posting 10 weeks of videos, five videos each week for you to vote for your weekly favorite.

These videos will put a smile on your face, make you laugh (and sometimes cry) and give you a moments break from a hectic day.

We think you will love them.

Vote for your favorite and post your comments right on the blog. (The videos are on the Book Millionaire blog at http://www.bookmillionaire.com ). There is a lot to talk about these videos. You’ll want to share these with your friends.

Your voice and vote are important. We want Book Millionaire to be a show that you love. We also want it to be free and completely available worldwide. Yes, free to watch meaning you won’t have to subscribe to a certain cable or satellite TV package to watch it or be living in a certain country who receives a certain television signal.

After listening to all the emails asking how people could make sure they could see the show (regardless of where they lived) and talking to cable channels, who were both very interested in the show and very fun to talk with, and talking to sponsors who wanted the highest amount of distribution possible, we have all agreed that broadcasting Book Millionaire online for FREE is a great answer.

This means Book Millionaire shows will be available to the billion people worldwide (by bCentral research estimates) who have a computer and internet connection.

This is not going to be a “web cam” video that will have people snoring in seconds.

Rather, it is going to be a television quality production that you can watch FR*E (at any time of the day or night, when you want to watch it) and pass it on to your friends.

We believe it will create the greatest “water cooler” word-of-mouth. You may love to hate it. You may love to love it. Either way, we believe it will be talked about.

We’ve already seen the online video appetite and success of iTunes.com with over one million video downloads during the one month of October, 2005. Over 10 million people have watched the online movie at themeatrix.com. We’ve already seen Bravo and VH1 airing online videos. AOL and others have signed deals for online reality television programming with major production companies. And there is even a motion picture (The Secret) now online for $4.95 per viewing.

Online televised viewing is real and its here.

If you haven’t heard what’s happening with online television viewing, here are just a few links to prove the major success this is producing for those choosing this avenue:

From “USA Today”…

The Joke's on the Net: Comedy careers launched via Web
By Gary Strauss, USA TODAY

Stand-up comic Dane Cook's frenetic energy and observational style has helped him build a solid fan base over 15 years of touring the club and college circuit. But Cook credits mainstream success, which includes two best-selling CDs, a guest-host gig on Saturday Night Live, a multi-project deal with HBO, sellout live arena shows and a burgeoning film career, to the Internet. "Without it, I'd be years behind where I am right now," says Cook, read more at http://www.usatoday.com/tech/2006-03-21-cybercomedy_x.htm

From “Media Week”...

March Madness breaks online streaming records
The CBS SportsLine free live webcast of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament broke records for simultaneous online video streams set by AOL's stream of the Live 8 concert last summer. According to preliminary reports, Thursday's audience peaked at 268,000, compared with 175,000 concurrent streams for Live 8. And from “CNET”…

The Internet and the Future of TV
By Marguerite Reardon, Staff Writer, CNET News.com

Imagine a day when you would be in total control of creating your own TV channel lineup. Instead of subscribing to a service from a cable, satellite or phone company that might offer you hundreds of channels you'll never watch, you would be able to select what you want and watch it on your own schedule. That day might not be so far away. Slowly but surely, content that's broadcast over cable networks and through satellite providers is being distributed through the public Internet…to read more click http://news.com.com/The+future+of+TV/2100-1026_3-5920065.html?tag=cd.top

And there is much, much more proving this hot and happening form of content distribution.

At the National Association of Television Producers and Executives (NAPTE) event in July of 2005, major movie production studios, television stations and cable channels all had online distribution strategies, which included delivering programming over the Internet.

They also expressed their concerns over the playing field being leveled as more and more television and movies are going to be distributed directly to viewers over the Internet.

It used to be these channels and distribution outlets were the only game in town. They owned the airwaves. So if you wanted to watch something, you selected from what they were offering. Now, they realize that you have unlimited choices as more and more programming is going online.

We would like to see Book Millionaire be one of the first “viral” television shows online. This means that it is free and passed along from friends to friends. We aren’t going to make a profit from this free online distribution, but that has never been our purpose. We have a different reason for this

In the spirit of all creative and talented authors, artists and creators who have ever blazed new paths, we want to see where this new idea will go.

We’d like you to come with us by watching and voting on the applicants’ videos who you would most like to see on the show. Then, pass this on to family and friends so they can do the same. Together, with your valued input, we’ll build a show you, your family and your friends will love.

Blessings of Love and Light as we move forward on this very exciting journey together.
